Günter Manuel Giehr studied economics in Hamburg and Freiburg. After holding several top management positions in the insurance industry he joined MEAG MUNICH ERGO AssetManagement GmbH on 1 April 1999 as Member of the Board of Management, where he is today responsible for the company's global real estate activities. Since 1 October 2009 he has also been Member of the Board of Management at MEAG MUNICH ERGO Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH.
