By car
From Stuttgart (A8):
At the end of the Autobahn turn right going towards the Garmisch Autobahn (Pippingerstraße). At the T-junction after the rail underpass, turn left onto Bodenseestraße, which then becomes Landsbergerstraße and later Bayerstraße. Just before Bayerstraße becomes a one-way street, follow the road to the right onto Martin Greif Straße, stay in the left lane and then turn onto Schwanthaler Straße at the next traffic light. Follow this road until its end and then turn right onto the Altstadtring road (changes its name from Sonnenstraße to Blumenstraße). From Blumenstraße turn left towards the fire station and then right into Oberanger.
From Nuremberg (A9):
Take the A9 towards Munich until the München-Schwabing exit. At the end of the Autobahn, turn onto the Mittlerer Ring Ost road. After passing through the English Garden, turn right at Tucherpark towards Innenstadt/Zoo (Ifflandstraße becomes Emil-Riedl-Straße, Oettingenstraße and then Sternstraße). From Sternstraße turn right onto Maximilianstraße. At the next major crossing turn right onto the Altstadtring and then, after about 100 metres, do a U-turn at the gap in the traffic island. The Altstadtring then becomes Thomas-Wimmer-Ring, Frauenstraße and then Blumenstraße. From Blumenstraße turn right towards the fire station and then right again into Oberanger.
From Salzburg (A8):
Take the A8 towards München until the end of the Autobahn in München Ramersdorf. Here, cross over the Mittlerer Ring and continue straight ahead on Rosenheimer Straße, past the Ostbahnhof train station and into the city centre. This road leads over the Isar river and up to Isartorplatz, where you turn left onto the Altstadtring (Frauenstraße becoming Blumenstraße). From Blumenstraße turn right towards the fire station and then right into Oberanger.
From Munich Airport:
Take the S1 or S8 train (S-Bahn) to the Hauptbahnhof, then change to the U1 (Mangfallplatz) or U2 (Innsbrucker Ring) underground, getting off at Sendlinger Tor. Leave the underground station through the Sendlinger Straße exit. At the exit from the underground (U-Bahn) walk straight across Sendlinger-Tor-Platz. Keep right. Oberanger is after the row of shops.
From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof):
Take the U1 (Mangfallplatz) or U2 (Innsbrucker Ring) underground, getting off at Sendlinger Tor. Leave the underground station through the Sendlinger Straße exit. At the exit from the underground (U-Bahn) walk straight across Sendlinger-Tor-Platz. Keep right. Oberanger is after the row of shops.
