Dr. Hans-Joachim Barkmann, Managing Director at MEAG MUNICH ERGO Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH

Hans-Joachim Barkmann graduated in law from the University of Kiel in 1990. After then gaining his doctorate he joined the legal offices of Dr. Theede & Brack in Kiel in 1991. From 1992, Dr. Barkmann was in the employ of Dr. Klein & Co. AG in Lübeck, a company of Hypoport AG, ultimately as an authorised signatory and head of the Real Estate department. Dr. Barkmann joined MEAG at the beginning of 2005 as General Manager of MEAG Real Estate Hamburg GmbH. Since 1 September 2008 he has been in charge of the real estate activities of MEAG in his capacity as Managing Director.
