Active portfolio management utilises market inefficiencies
MEAG is convinced that markets are inefficient. That is why we pursue an active portfolio-management approach. It aims to profit from market inefficiencies by taking advantage of our employees' investment expertise, bundling the know-how of the portfolio managers and analysts in a systematic investment process. The success of an investment is thus the result of extensive planning and our specialists' individually customised investment concept.
Our investment approach is a combination of fundamental top-down and bottom-up approaches with quantitative support. Our portfolio managers have sufficient freedoms in its implementation to be able to make the best possible use of their specific abilities. This plays a significant role in employee motivation.
