Thomas Bayerl is Global Head of Illiquid Assets at MEAG, and thus in charge of all of the company's worldwide investments in illiquid assets. Upon joining MEAG in 2009, he was initially responsible for investments in asset-backed securities, and then headed the newly founded Infrastructure Debt unit from its inception in 2014. Prior to MEAG, the mathematics graduate Bayerl worked in portfolio management at HSH Nordbank in London, and in the investment division of LBBW in Stuttgart.
