What does diversity mean for MEAG?

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are core values of our corporate culture. We are convinced that as a growing organization we benefit greatly from different experiences, mindsets and profiles working together. This not only encompasses social and biological gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, nationality or cultural differences. Diversity also manifests itself in attributes like experience, education, personality or opinions. We benefit from all these differences as a team.

Our opportunities are as diverse as our employees: We invest in needs-based, individual training in all specialist areas, because our employees are our most important asset. 

How is MEAG driving equal opportunities for women in the company?

Within the scope of the Group-wide ‘Ambition 2025’, we have formally defined our goals with regard to women in leadership positions and are accompanying this with appropriate measures.

MEAG supports the “Fondsfrauen” mentoring programme, the biggest German-language career network for the promotion and equality of women in the finance industry.

How does MEAG create a positive and open working environment?

A diverse team composition is important to us because it creates favorable conditions for prejudice-free working environments.
We conduct annual pulse-checks to assess our progress on the issues of equal opportunities and inclusion and derive targeted measures. In close cooperation with our internal networks and external partners, we implement a wide range of initiatives to improve equal opportunities.

MEAG offers longer-term language courses to further reduce language barriers, as well as intensive courses when language skills are urgently needed at short notice in the context of new tasks.
