In the event of disputes relating to the regulations of the German Code of Investment Law (Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch) you can invoke the ombudsman's office (Ombudsstelle für Investmentfonds) of the German Investment and Asset Management Association "BVI" (Bundesverband Investment und Asset Management e.V.). MEAG participates in dispute settlement proceedings with this arbitration office.

In the event of disputes arising from the application of the provisions of the German Code of Civil Law (BGB) as they pertain to distance selling contracts for financial services, you can also turn to the arbitration board of the Deutsche Bundesbank.
Its contact details are:

Tel.: 0049 (0)69 2388-1907 or -1906

For disputes relating to electronically created contracts of sale or services, you can contact the European Union's online dispute settlement platform (www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). You can use the e-mail address: info@meag.com as the company's contact address. The platform itself does not settle disputes, it merely gives the disputing parties the contact data of a relevant national arbitration authority.
A dispute settlement proceeding does not affect the right to pursue the matter before a court of law.
Participation in a dispute settlement proceeding is subject to Germany's Consumer Dispute Settlement Act (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz).
In matters other than those described above, MEAG MUNICH ERGO Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH and MEAG MUNICH ERGO AssetManagement GmbH choose not to take part in a dispute settlement proceeding with a consumer arbitration instance, nor is it obliged by law to do so.
